Past. A native Texan who grew up in north Houston. After high school, it was off to San Antonio to earn a Bachelor's of Science degree at Trinity University.
While attending university I co-founded Web-1 Hosting. We battled it out in the hosting industry for nearly a decade then sold in order to explore other ventures.
A twirling, twisting escapade followed: working with small start-ups all the way up to multi-nationals. Including some truly brilliant individuals at Digital River.
Soon after, my wife and I were engaged and then married the following St. Patrick's day on the beach in Galveston.
Portions of 2012 through 2014 was spent accumulating nearly 4,000 sea miles delivering and racing sailboats in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.
Present. Living in Central Texas with my wife and two sons.
I enjoy working with local companies onLaravel projects: learning their business, exploring solutions aiding them in attaining their goals, and searching out exciting new technologies to digest and deploy.
Despite the unrelenting heat — or maybe that's due to — whenever time allows it's off to the nearest lake, river, bay or coastline for a little thrill seeking.
Sailing. Kayaking. Fishing. Paddle boarding. Skiing. Wake surfing. Life is better on the water with friends! Or, as Captain Ron says, "If anything is going to happen, it's going to happen out there."
